alice nine. were a real surprise to us – since we honestly didn't expect Japanese to be that tall. Although they were visibly tired from the long journey to Germany, they made efforts to answer our questions as detailed as possible.

peach: Was it much surprising for you that you were to do a concert along with the other bands here?
alice nine.: Not only surprised, but also very happy, since it's our first time to play in Germany.
peach: Did you already have an opportunity to see something of the town itself?
alice nine.: We arrived already yesterday and have done a little see sighting. The cathedral of Cologne was very impressing and the food here tastes very good.
peach: Are you already excited/nervous about tomorrow? What do you expect from the German fans?
alice nine.: Actually, we don't expect anything! We have to admit that we can't really estimate all this, because we have no idea what comes up to us tomorrow.
peach: In Germany, not only visual kei is very popular, but also Japanese pop music. What do you think of the different influences of pop and visual kei?
alice nine.: We are fairly surprised! In the end it doesn't matter whether people like pop or visual kei. The most important thing is that the people think about Japanese culture and try to understand it. Only that matters.
peach: Do you yourself like pop music?
alice nine.: Of course! We like it and we also listen to it.
peach: How did you get down making music? Which bands were your idols and how did you find the suitable instruments for yourselves?
Tora (guitar): A friend of mine had an electric guitar and always practiced a lot with it. I liked it so much that I thought: Hey! I want to do that too!
Hiroto (guitar): I already wanted to form a band and do similar kind of music when I heard X-Japan for the first time, in elementary school. I found X-Japan very very cool!
Saga (bass): I've tried out all instruments and bass was best for me – so I stayed with itﾂ…
Nao (drums): I've been born with the urge to spin the sticks. I always wanted to play drums and I've always done.
Shou (vocal): Vocal is the most important part of a band. Therefore I've always wanted to be singer.
peach: Speaking of vocalﾂ… In Germany, there are hardly people who speak Japanese and most fans know either a small bit or none. How do you think about that?
alice nine.: Primarily, it's a matter of the music. It's a universal language that everybody understands. Besides, we'll let a few German words flow in for the fans, e.g. ﾂ"Thank you very much!ﾂ", ﾂ"I love youﾂ", ﾂ"We'll come back again!ﾂ" (everybody laughs)
peach: In your opinion, what's so special about Japanese music, what do you think is the reason for its popularity/success overseas?
alice nine.: Music from Japan has already been represented for a longer time here, but more in the underground. Like it's the way with many things, that are in the underground at first, and become popular then, it happened also to Japanese music.
peach: Besides J-music, mangas and animes are popular. Do you also watch animes or read mangas?
alice nine.: You'll probably hardly find a Japanese who doesn't have any animes or mangas. We like ﾂ"Bleachﾂ", ﾂ"Gandalf" and ﾂ"Jo-Jo Strange Adventureﾂ" most.

peach: Is there a country where you've always wished to play?
alice nine.: One time all around the globe! No, there's no particular country that we prefer, we'd like to have the chance to play everywhere!

Nao: I'm always afraid of getting sick. The worst thing that can happen to me then is if I have to go to hospital. The men in white lab coats scare me!

AAaaa~ omg i cant stop laughing at the interview those guys always make my day...
Shou with silver hair looks awesome... he could keep it i wouldnt complain. sure he look great with blonde, light brown (actually i think anything) but silver is my fav o(^_^)v and hes scared of cucumbers.... *blank stare* .... okay? *keeps him away from freezer*
and Tora and his insects.. i think i could play the greatest prank at him and have hella fun laughing at his face (i love insects, actually i have a spider as pet) >DDD
and i think they actually said Gundam since Nao is a great fan (as me) maybe its just a mistake of the translators
