Hello all,
Welp, After whining at the end of EVERY summer about how horrible my summer was, I Finally bought me a ticket a slew of new toys to take along to Japan.
I have never been there before. But Like most of you I have an interest(renewed)in Asian Cuture. I say Renewed because of an exGF who hated anything she could not understand- even after trying to explain it to her."it's stupid" she used to say... enough of her...

I was able to buy My tix for 1080.00 leaving in the middle of August returning exactly one month later.(yes, i know it's going to be hot and humid- thats the way i like it)My electronics might not - but i do)

Now the Bad news... I was made aware of the Passport delay, So went to find out about how much of a delay To my Horror they were talking about weeks and weeks! Si was told that i can Expidite my PP-for a fee , WHICH CAN BE $$!! I thought to my self, "I dont care How much it's going to cost me..I WILL be on that plane". I have too much planned for something like this to slow me down... I'm going to Japan and nothing is going to stop me.
Well i hope not anyway...
I'll keep you all posted.... sorry for the rambling.... i'm very excited...

I'm just curious, if you're complaining about the cost to expidite the passport, where will you be staying for a month? Surely that can't be cheap? Hopefully with friends, because I wouldn't want to see the bill for one month's lodging...

Passport Express can expedite your passport in 24 hours. I lost my passport and had to use them. It's was roughly $450 including their fee and all the government fees. Even if you pay the governments expediting fee it will still take 3 months because of the back log. I would use an expediting agency. I really hope it all works out for you! Good Luck!
