Minty: Oh, yeah! That stuff's tempting alright! Even worse was seeing that picture before breakfast, making me even hungrier than I already am! URGH! In fact, that picture was so tempting, I'm not going to look at that picture ever again!
:-)

You better put me on ignore I don't want to be blame for your "weight gain!":p

Lets see... I like nuts, carrots, croissants, apples, green peppers, cheese on crack ******... I mean crackers
uhm... and ETCETC!!! 😊

I like Snickers bars. I like Snax crackers with pate, and blue cheese.
I liked some crisps that I used to eat all the time in NZ, but now I have forgotten the flavour, maybe Sour cream and onion? Oh.. yeah that was it, now I want them.

In Korea there are too many snacks to choose from, and only about 12% of them are actually good enough to eat.

Double chocco chip cookies (if you are in Korea and need the korean name, I'd be happy to tell you).
Sour Cream crisps.
Binch biscuits.
Nude Peppero (similar to Pocky, but the chocolate is on the inside).
Im slowly finding chocolate worth eating, which I dont know is a good thing or not! Its Swiss stuff and 'oh so yummy'.

Well, that's a darn good idea! I'm trying hard to avoid sweets and doing extra exercise to lose the extra weight I currently have. Don't you DARE put up more pics like that one you did before! It's torture!

Yep those Swiss chocolates are real good! 👍

Toblerone/Kit Kat/Lion/Bounty/Lindt chocolate
NACHOS .. they are the best thing on the planet ..
hm chocolate chip cookies
.. Donuts ..
Quavers & Cheetos

oooooooooooh Bounty!
Ooh I forgot Cherry Ripes from Australia! I one day found a packet of bite sized ones in a department store here in Korea... wow what a great day that was.

Hi Chew apple flavor, Jagaricos (spelling) by Calbee salad flavor, omg I could eat them all day long. Also I like the giraffe on the carton. Rice crackers, only soy sauce or hot sauce flavor. Dars white chocolate. Smoked habenero cheese bites. McVities milk chocolate digestive biscuits. Choco flakes, great eaten as cereal! Biz cookies. Calpis hot lemon drink, and georgia coffee. Wow, can you tell I love to go to the convenience store! I am a true snacker. I nibble a little all day long. At least with all the walking to the stores I don't gain any weight! And, the sizes are smaller, most of the time, in Japan so you don't eat as much. Anyway, I know this is an old thread, but I was picking up my hotel room and I was SHOCKED by all the junk food I had in various bags. The cleaning lady must think that's all I do...eat! ok, I do, but in moderation. I do have bannas and baked tofu and cup noodles as well, so maybe all is not lost. BTW I am going to the convenience store at lunch. I want to find these little clear chewy cubes of coconut flavor stuff with fruit. I don't know what it's called but it's really good! :) I think I'll have a snack! Bye!

My favorite snack is chocolate donuts with a RC Cola to wash them down.

All the people of the world + chocolate donuts + RC Cola = World Peace

I am a fiend for chips and hummus. Especially Salt and Vinegar chips and hummus. If no chips around, I throw some Pita in the oven and eat that with hummus.

Hummus keeps me sane.

Candy: Belgian chocolate

Snack: fish and meat

I know it's weird to have that as snack, but I like it, so I eat what I like and that's that ^_^

Lately my favorite snack is popcorn with nutritional yeast flakes and salt (much better than I would have thought!). I like wasabi peas sometimes and fruit as a snack.

My top five favorite junk foods/beverages:

Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies

Hot Cocoa

Peanut Butter sandwiches

Any type of ice cream

Pretzels

KOMPEITO <33
that stuff is so good TwT~

and rice ball ice cream

I'll have to try that some day. Sounds pretty good. 👍

Yay! I found the little clear coconut cubes are called coconut gel or nata de coco! mmm...weird texture but they taste so good. I ate a whole jar of them today (340 g)...I sincerely hope they aren't too high in calories. Does anyone know, I can't read the label and I can't find a number to guess!? :)

To tell the truth, we seldom snack between meals very much, although we do eat plenty of food, including desserts! When we do snack between meals it usually involves dark chocolate.

When I was in Japan my evening snacks were usually good things I bought at places like Belle, Don Q, Ginza Cozy Corner, etc. My daytime snacks usually involved some form of coffee.

Right now I have a weakness for Lay's STAX salt and vinegar chips.

I don't know about lays but since I was a kid I have loved Salt n Vinegar chips.

Also on the list is Pocky (any flavor) Snickers, CC Cookies, Brownies, cakes, pies, sweets..... melon Pan (Melon Bread)😊

You put yeast on popcorn too, Sara?! I thought it was kind of rare when I heard it from my husband.

Have you had popcorn with cayenne, salt and butter? It's really good!

Just some celery with a healthy dip, a banana or apple, or some himalayan bitter apricot kernels for me most days recently...

(apparently the FDA recommends no more than one or two a day of the latter because of potential cyanide poisoning. Luckily, we have no such guidelines here in the UK! I probably have ten or twenty kernels a day, but not more than five or so an hour, and i'm still alive! :-) )

I read about putting nutritional yeast on popcorn not long ago, so I tried it and was surprised at how good it was. I haven't tried cayenne - I like cayenne pepper in some things, so maybe I'll try it on popcorn!

made of stone - I've heard that apple seeds also have cyanide in them, but you'd have to eat a lot to get poisoned!

I feel bad. I posted about all my snacks that I love and they all are so unhealthy! I love string cheese, but I never considered it a snack because for me it's lunch or dinner! Same for cheese and crackers and veggies. I eat them at every meal so for me it seems odd to call them snacks. Fruit too, it can be a meal for me...so I am not a complete junk food junkie! Oh, I love yogurt raisins, that's a snack that's healthy!

Haha, I live on snacks! 😊
At the moment, my favourites are carob-coated raisins, salted cashews, marmite on toast, and cornflakes. :liplick:

You're quite right! The health benefits of the eating seeds and nuts rich in Amygdalin are contentious, but I do believe the potential dangers of the cyanide are way overblown, just don't get carried away and eat a whole bag! I eat the seeds because I like them and because the Hunza people certainly seem to thrive on them, there may be certain health benefits. From Wiki:

'Amygdalin is contained in hundreds of foods, but ones that are particularly rich in amygdalin have disappeared to a large extent from Western diet.'
