I'm sure a lot of you have heard about this. Yoshiki's new project with Gackt? Well now SUGIZO (from Luna Sea) has joined on as Guitarist. There is a HUGE rumor that Miyavi will be the second Guitarist. He's already announced on a video that he'll be ending his solo career early this year to join a band...of older musicians Yeah he said that the members were much older then him...Also he spent most of Nov. and all of December in Los Angeles last year...doing what? Yoshiki lives in Los Angeles..hmmm? So it gets one thinking...is he joining Yoshiki's "Super Band?" What are you're thoughts on this?

I'm actaully looking forward to this. I think it'll be freakin' amazing to see all these HUGE rock stars on the same stage making music together. And Yoshiki said that their first ever live tour will be right here in the US of A! Now that's freakin awesome! ^_^

lol
the Miyavi stuff is pretty convincing... and he'd definatly fit in talnt/ego wise XD

we just need a basist with one to match...
unforuntatly i know of one but he will never leave his band because if he does i will personlly see to it that all his toes are broken off....

*cough*

anyways... 😌

there's acutally already a thread on these guys over in the chit chat room...

How exciting Sugizo + Yoshiki + Miyavi. Some of my most favorite JRockers...

I could care less about Gackt (sorry Gackt fans)

I didn't know there was already a topic on this. I didn't see one here so I thought I'd post this. Since I kinda think it belongs here...

lol
no no, you're quite right!
it's in the chit chat forum because people were disuccing a possible full line up and such...

your right, it does deserve to have something here too...

sort of looking forward, although i don't like gackt/miyavi. i'm quite a yoshiki fan and is fond of sugi's work in the luna sea era.

but i've a feeling it will take them years to release anything as yoshiki is very interested in taking a long time to do anything lately.

they';re planing on touring next year....

i think this means Yoshiki's already got some ideas music wise... and expects that, given the standard of everyone, thing will get done quickly and efficiaently... because there's no way he would tour without an album... i think they all know how silly that would be 😌

... i'm not a HUGE fan of Gackt, and not so much of Sugozi's solo work, nor Miyavi's latest stuff...
and... as much as it pain me to admit... Yoshiki does tend to... repeat stuff...
BUT... i would say anyone who says these people are crap and talentless is a complete idiot and should keep their opinions as just that - opinions.
they are CLEARLY exstreemly talented.. and i really don't think anything liek this has been done before...

i mean... it woudl be like putting... *thinks*
paul mcartny, elton john... wait, that's 2 pianists... >.<
umm... you knwo what i mean! shove a bunch of legends together, you've bound to get somethign interesting out of the mix!

i also find it interetsing about the whole timeline...
i mean... Yoshiki was obviously around first in one of the HUGE bands of the decade, the LUNA SEA came that was massive, Malice Mizer came, and Gackt joined... and the Due'le Quarts followed shortly...
and it seems to me that these 4 people all set to work as soon as thet left the bands on their solo carears and became masivly successfull...
and Gackt and Miyavi, i'd say, are even more successfull now than they ever were in their bands...
(i'm not 100% about this timeline, but i think you get me drift ^^; )

also... i'm excited to see what kind of image they come up with!
because you've got all the generations of VK in there too....

I'm just worried to go to one of their concerts... waaaaaay too many annoying fangirls to deal with!!!

So, I'll just buy their CD or single.

NO!
oimigosh dont' let that put you off!!!!!

sure there's likely to be a lot of fangirls... but that shouldn't stop you from going to see a band live...
CD is NOTHING comparerd to a live gig... and having an excited auduience just adds to the effect!
ok... it IS annoying when you get people screaming constantly... but in my experience it isn't liek that the whole way through... and after a bit people settle down and just really get into the music...
so if you have a chance to go then you should go damnit!!!
*can't go*
:(

And besides.. thats what you have elbows for:)

I think that there is very little that would stop me from seeing Yoshiki-sama, Gackt and Sugizo on the same stage at the same time.
Well.. The only think that would stop me is... no money *pulls out pockets*:(
But even then I'll rob an old lady and solve the problem! :D :devilish:

@Ettawen: Great avatar! 👍

Hmmm maybe I didn't explain myself at all.

I can use my elbows, my head and my knees to keep those fangirls away from me... but they have the most powerful weapon in the whole world:

SCREAAAAAM!!!

So, it doesn't matter how much I try, I'm sure I will not be able to enjoy the music, because there will be hundreds of fangirls screaming "Yoshikiiiii" "Gaaaaackt" "Sugizooooo".

And that's why I prefer to buy their CD or single, I really want to listen their music, not seeing them rubbing their chests or wearing pantyhoses while they play drums :p

Anyways, I'll see what to do and who organizes their tours, to see if I can meet them somewhere else, and not among those strange screaming creatures.

Well.. I know how annoying it can be with lots of pushing and screaming.. I went to see Slipknot and Slayer some years ago and bruised my ribbs quite bad becuase of all the people pusing. Well.. when It comes to screaming, the music mostly covers up all of it:) and you can walk home happy and deaf:)

well... i think it's a little unfair to compare slayer and slipnot fans to the average fangirl...
for one thing, most slayer fans are large men, and fangirls are usually little bitty things that have piercing screaches and despite looking innocent are PURE EVIL!
😌

but... i tell you, i mean, i'm a screaming myself...(i'm rediculously loud actually.. i can't help it, i get carried away >.< ) i don't scream during the actual music... and a lot of other people get that too... i mean, you do get some people who let out the odd burst... but in general, the screaming only adds to the 'live' effect, but it very rearly drowns out the music...
even i can't drown out the music... and i've had people move to the other side of the venue because of me ^^;
(this was before the actual gig started i might add 😌)

Yeah.. true true.. Well there was alot of typical fangirls at that concert, but they ended up in the hospital.. and that was like ALOT of people! I normally scream my lungs out when I know the lyrics ect! Like at the Moi Dix Mois concert when they did forbidden!! I was like totaly going nuts😌 I just love that song:)
And SaKeVi.. you should defenately go! Its a rare oppertunity:) ..atleast it would be for me😌

I wish that was true when I saw Dir en grey. Those devils (fangirls) wouldn't shut up and actually drowned Kyo's voice. They even refused to be quiet when he sang a capella without mic, making him feel stressed and he had to pick it up anyway or else we woulnd't hear anything. That was just so rude and I hope they will burn in hell.

I mean, there is nothing wrong with being noisy at a live but know WHEN to scream and when to shut up!

OMIGOD!
yeah... that's just.... bad....

but... i think it's safe to say that the length these songs are likely to be may also mean slightly less screaming...

i couldn't say for sure...
i screamed 30 mins straight during the time between the Pura's main set and their first encore (year, we had to wait about 30 min O.O)
but that's cos i was annoyed at the fans for quieting down when i wasn't screaming... YOU HAVE TO KEEP SCREAMING DAMNIT!
they have to know we love them XDDD

HAHA i joke with my friends that people should hier me to scream at concerts XDDD all you need is one really loud and long scream to pick up everyone else and get them started again XDDD

BUT i never do that during the SONGS... cos that's just ****.....
i sing them too :p

agh!!!!

recently it finds out to me that wise person who Miyavi wanted to create a nonwise band but of which, outside so soon equal ay that to wait for the results

o,o
