Hikaru Utada

Exodus was a bad album her worst. But there were some really good songs on it, its that the so many bad songs overshadowed the few good ones.

Everytime I hear Boku wa Kuma it makes me happy and I want to sing with Hikki. xD And then I sing. *lol*
I like Hikki's Look in the Passion PV. She is so beautyfull there. I want to look like her. >.< xD I like Passion. It is so great.

I liked the english so that wasn't the problem. The problem was the song lyrics and writing.
 
WAAAAAA KAwaii ne. Demo *but* it is not really a real song is it? It's more a theme song of a childs animation than a song...

I don't think this single will reach the clubs haha.
 
I think so, that it's a theme song. The PV looks like an Opening for a childs animation. And I think I heard somewhere that it's for a childs animation, but I am not sure.
Would be funny if it reaches the clubs. xD *lol*

Utada was one of the two people who inspired me to start writing songs. The other is Aaron Lewis from Staind. They both put so much heart and soul into their songs it can bring a tear to your eye.

The song title is a reference to her stuffed bear, Kuma Chang, and is her first time writing a children's song.

In the first press edition of the new single will be a picture book created by Utada, and the single will be used in Japan's NHK channel's Minna no Uta children's program.
 
She's such a dork, it's amazing.

And EXODUS was good stuff. Well-produced urban pop and a different direction for her in lyrics. She did say UTADA and Hikki were two different personas.
 
I have recently bought her Singles Collection Vol.1. She sounds good, so I'll have to start hunting for more of her music.

Boku wa Kuma, entered the Oricon Charts on number 4 last week, not bad for a children's song.
 
I saw the little book yesterday in the store, and I am actually thinking of buying it for when I am getting a child in the upcoming years...
