I'm heading back to Japan in a week or so for the first time in almost ten years.. I'm sending luggage from Haneda to Sapporo, but my accommodation is an apartment with no desk and I can't be there waiting for my luggage to arrive. I know I can send from a 7-11 or Familymart, but can I send my luggage TO a konbini and pick it up? If not, is there somewhere I can pick it up from instead of having it delivered direct to the accom? Yamato depot or something? Will have a car so don't mind where it is.

Thanks

You can use these services to forward your luggage:

Here's an interactive map to check for pick-up locations:

Specifically for Sapporo:

So I went to yamato counter at haneda and they refused to send to a 7-11 or to an unmanned airbnb. Looks like I'm stuck with hundreds of dollars in excess baggage and carting 50kg of luggage through snowy streets of Sapporo

That's pretty harsh. I hope you can figure it out!

Dang. Sorry to hear that. Once you get to Sapporo you should be able to get a wagon taxi to get you to your destination.
Were they able to explain why they couldn't do it?
