I can't find one at the moment. Be careful, often scammers imitate legitimate companies. So while the company may be legitimate, the contact you received from them may not be. If they contacted you with no prior contact to make you some offer such as for employment it's almost certainly a scam.

@mdchachi makes a good point, we've seen this kind of scam before. That e-mail address is a big red flag.

If you really want to be sure, contact them through the information on their official website and inform them of the contact you received, ask if the person who sent it is a legitimate employee, and whether the offer is real. For the most part, I don't often see company-specific recruitment like this, so at the very least they might be interested to know that someone is out there impersonating them.

gremz-solar.co was registered in February 2023 with GoDaddy where it's currently parked and on sale. I doubt that the email came from the Japanese company.

They use [email protected] for enquiries.

@mdchachi @nice gaijin yes i feel the same the moment i look at the email domain. Currently doing a bit of investigation to find this person is legitimate and the offer is real.

@thomas thanks for providing the info email. I tried to send an email but it bounced back because of info was not found at gremz-solar.co.jp

For now I choose to not to share the email yet because a small part of me still hope that this is legit. I am still working at it and really appreciate if you can find any support email from this Gremz-solar company or its parent company, gremz inc for me to validate the person and the offer

If the email really came from gremz-solar.co and not gremz-solar.co.jp then it must be fraudulent. There's no other explanation.

Yes it is a scam. A person emailed me for a position as their agent/liaison for the US to manage a solar energy project. Few hours a week job, well remunerated. They sent me a well structured MOU for signature without any interview (first red flag). Email used was from gremz-solar.co and not gremz-solar.co.jp (second red flag). Was able to have a video call with the hiring person who explained the role but was not able to provide any other contacts (third red flag). They then sent several documents including a detailed presentation about the solar project and requested to open an offshore bank account in Turkey with Ziraat Bank via a bank representative who's email was @e-ziraathazinesi.com and not @ziraatbank.com, asking for a $2400 deposit. Total scam.
