Help Desperately in need of help about rikon fujuri moshide

Hello, I don't know if this is the right forum.....I'm in need of urgent help. I have never been more distraught. My wife is Japanese, and we are living in the UK. I have become more disabled due to worsening health. My wife has suddenly decided to have a long visit to Japan, and it seems she might be planning on divorcing me. How do I apply for rikon fujuri moshide, which I think is the request for non acceptance of divorce.? Does anybody please have a correct download link for the form? Is there an English version? (I cannot speak Japanese) If it is only in Japanese, can I fill it in English? Does anybody have any other advice? I'm trying to start contact with organization called Rikon Alert. Thank you for reading.

I admit I had never heard of fujurimōshide (不受理申出) or Rikon Alert before.

Have you contacted the Japanese Embassy for more info? Also, Rikon Alert have an email address on their website. You could try to contact them as well.

Regarding the form, family registers are handled by local municipalities so you'd have to know which municipality to go to. For example, here's the web site for Shinjuku in Tokyo. 不受理申出：新宿区

I think the main purpose to doing this would be to protect your rights in Japan especially if there are minor children involved.
But since you are not living in Japan anyway I'm not sure what this would accomplish.
Assuming your marriage is on the family register, this might prevent her from divorcing you on paper but it wouldn't prevent her from moving back to Japan and abandoning you. But as Thomas said, I would try to contact the organizations listed on the Rikon Alert site to see what they think about your situation.

Sorry to hear about your problems. If you're on Facebook, I suggest joining the Tokyo Expat Network group and asking your question there. It's a very active and helpful site and the problems associated with divorce often come up.

Thanks for your reply. I have not contacted the Embassy yet. I doubt they would be much help, but I will keep it in mind. I have nothing to lose by contacting them.

Thank you. I don't know how to join that group on facebook without my wife knowing, as she is on my facebook, but I could make a new account or see if I can do something with my privacy settings.
