Other then Yoshiki, Gackt and Sugizo... there''s a rumour that Miyavi would be in it other then that.... it's a real mystery~

well... i'm REALLY gunna keep this briefe...
i can't even remeber half of what i just read ^^; (it's dificult because i got hide tributes on atm too XD)
ummm...

yeah... actually you know i've noticed reading... i think just 1 translation... the girl seemed incredibly obsessed, lol she took each line and analysed it like it was an english lanugage essay ^^;
but it struck me then that what he wrote was really thought about...
i'd love to be able to write lyrics in Japanese for this exact reason.

the whole thing about getting to know the actual bands.
i'm the same.
i mean, i really REALLy loved some bands before i got into Jmusic, but i only vaguly knew their names and certain things about them...
i think the main reason for the change is because while i was getting tinto Jrock, i was learning more about the internet? and so... i think they kinda came hand in hand...
but actually i lietned to them for a good while before i thought to look them up.
i was like, inlove with Pura and thought 'hmm, i wonder what they look like'
looked them up... saw a picture... *obsessed* XD
so i think the whole fact that the visual aspect of Jrock is almost as appealing as the music it's self, makes it that much more interesting too look into anyways....

if you really love the wired and wacky and reading thought you should DEFINALY read some Haruki Murakami books... the man is god XD

i prefer manga SO much to anime...
i mean, i like anime a lot more than i used to, but... i actually like the feeling of holding a book. - as giles says 'i like the smell of them'

actually.... the Japanese are taught romanji as a whole...
cities are using it more frequently because of the increas in tourisme... but it isn't an official alphabeat in Japan... it's just what the romanisation format looks like ^^;
(though i think they are taught it crudly when learning the english alphabet, and ofcause some computer keyboards use romanji configuration)

after reading the evidence about Miyavi though... it's pretty convincing guys!
it hink they aren't anouncing it because there's still some doubt about wether to join or not... and indeed wether he's suitable (which he clearely is)

but if he does join it's gunna be so funny to watch these guys intereact...
i mean... they all think they own Japan XDDD

i've got a friend who knows them all more or less, and she's pretty solid on her speeking and such, straight A student, but she still finds it dificult to read straight out without a little help ^^;

^Well Sugizo and Yoshiki has worked together somewhat before during the LUNA SEA and X days right? But back then I guess Sugizo HAD to respect Yoshiki more since he was like his boss and mentor lol. But now that Sugizo has a name of his own.....hmmm who knows. I think they will all keep it professional though. Yoshiki is the leader of the band right? So I guess he will be the boss in the end lol.

I'm more convinced now that Miyavi is joning Yoshiki's project because he spent the better half of Nov. and ALL of Dec. in LA...and who lives in LA? Yoshiki! That can't be a cowincidence(sp?). So now I'm about 70-75% sure Miyavi will be second guitarist...

i know very little about Sugozi other than he had a solo project, was guitarist in LUNA SEA and Akiya respects him a lot... XDDD

Being the myspace stalker that I am...

Judging from Myv's official myspace page, his number one friend is a pretty model named "Twink". The reason I know of "Twink" is because she was also on the top of Yoshiki's list for a while, and I know that when Hyde was in L.A., she and Yoshiki went to the show together (let me add now, don't worry ladies, she's taken by a wonderfully handsome man who she's in love with).

Being that LA is a rather large city, I doubt that Miyavi would come over to America and somehow find and befriend the same exact people that Yoshiki is friends with...

Thusly... since he was in LA for such a long time and he's hanging around the same 'circle of friends' as Yoshiki...

it's totally Miyavi.

I think they all have some kind of mutual respect for one another~ I mean you wouldn't be part of a project with someone you didn't respect right?

And considering who they are I don't think they would accept to just work with anyone~ I don't mean so much that they wouldn't work with New artists but unless they liked them~ I don't think they would accept to work with them.

And to go back... I think most songs when they're written they're thought about. I mean... that's what they're going to sing and when fans get the cds that's what they're going to read (provide they understand of course ) so I guess it's normal that they take everthing down to the use of kanji in some cases into consideration depending on what they want to say....

And I'llleave all this at that... -_- I don't really want to end up writing as much as I did before! -_-

edit: Hum~ I really don't think there could be THAT many conicidences... it's almost rediculous... I just wish they would say something... waiting is really killling me!

The only thing I'm nervous about is, this 'super-band' has to have some ridiculously awesome music, ya know. With all of these big names, if they come out with any songs that are just so-so, it will be beyond disappointing.

I almost see all of their songs being like 15 minute long power-ballads, lol. I can't see them doing any short "regular" type of songs, there are just too many important people involved. Oh well, I guess we'll see, eh...

there is a lot of pressure on them about this i think...
they're gunna have to come up with some really amazing stuff... and like... every aspect of each musical line and part is gunna have to be brillient
(i'm sorry to have to say this, but like a fair amount of Kagrra,'s stuff.... the thing i love about their music is you can take it apart and liten to individual instrument lines and it still sounds great - some, not all though)

so yeah... but... i think they are all awear of the fact that immensly long songs only have the imoparct the do when they're in amongst the 'regular' songs... so...
god, it's really exciting to make all these theorys and still be awear of the fact the we actually have NO idea what to expect XDDD

But I think that the fact they keep things so secretive must mean they're taking it pretty seriously if you think about it. After alll if they really thought that their names was all that was needed for success then there would be no mystery about it, they just come out and tell all their plans to everyone.

I think it takes a lot more dedication, and seriousness to keep your mouth shut. So I really think it will be worth looking forward to!

i wouldn't say that any of the VUK stuff was 'targeted' at any spacific generation... and i don't know... i mean, those three are all getting ona bit... maybe they might do something more 'sofisitcated'?

but yeah, i think, in my opinion, actualyl the seecretive-ness is more to do with the fact that final decision's havent' been made yet...
if someone was to say, yes, Miyavi and Kisaki (or whoever) are most definatly going to be in the band, and then they weren't.... i can imagin it might cause a lot of ruckess and such... ^^;

No I wasn't speaking directly of the past however, what I'm saying is to have more universal success and respect in the American market they should be careful on their approach, and their target audience.
Then again, perhaps they don't care, a fan is a fan and money from said fans is still money...

i don't think this prokect could possibly be about making money...
as they're all surely set to be financially sound for the next coupple of generations...
but i do think it's about fans...
so i think they'll come up with something that they think will spacifically appeal to a wide range of people, because if it is that Yoshiki wants to like out Hide's dream... i guess that's what he wants... though not to take away the aspect of Japanese-ness about it...

i don't know, this is all just speculation of course ^^;

Yea~ I really don't think Yoshiki, Gackt or whoever ends up in the band is really worried about money. I mean, they've already probably invested a lot of time and effort on this project I imagine and I think they might have made it a more publicized thing if they were worried about the finacial aspect (and I don't nessecairly mean tell everyone what will happen with the project so much as give little bits of info just to bother people into wanting to find out more.)

But, so far other then that annoncement that Yoshiki made all that while back nothing has happened, or at least they haven't made anymore news available so, I really think they're more concerned about the quality of their work then anyting else.

And I've never thought of Vk or Jrock as targetting a particular audience. I think, it's for everyone who can relate to it. Or who can at least apreciate it. I mean yes, certain people will like it more then others, but music, like art is universal anyone willing to take the time can enjoy it.

Hum... I wouldn't say that. I myself love those three but I don't think they willl appeal to everyone. After all everyone has a different taste in music and sometimes people can definitly be prejudice about what they listen to.

So while I think they'll be very successful and I don't really understand WHY someone wouldn't like what they did I know that realistically not everyone will like them.

Yes, Sugizo from Luna Sea came here to LA several times last year, and last month Gackt came to town, and we both went to dinner. pretty much just the two of us.
Actually that was really funny. Gackt came to my house and ate dinner that was good. Then I said to him "why don't we go out to dinner?". and he said "we just ate.???" then I said "I wanna eat different food." well .... we ate Japanese food at my house, and then ended up going out to a Japanese restaurant in LA.
(We are very weird Ha, ha, ha, ha) but that was fun!
Yes, I'm so lucky to have them as friends, and also to be able to work with them professionally.
