hello,
been reading posts and I noticed that the thread about yamashita treasure was locked by the moderator. well, I cant blame him...

I open this thread not to debate with anyone but to exchange infos for those who believe that the yamashita treasure is real.

me? i personally believe that it is real. I lived in a place where eyes have seen how the treasures were hidden by JIA in WWII. Indeed, the Japanese maintained a high order of secrecy about this thing and that's the reason why yamashita treasure has been regarded as a mere legend by those who dont have first hand infos.

Why not start a website to deal with treasure in the Phillipines? Everything there is to say about it has been discussed in the thread you mention(locked for a good reason). Maybe there is a website about things in the Phillipines (not Japan) where this subject would fit in better.

At the risk of stirring up trouble, I noticed that the previous version of this thread had little or no citation of other internet sources about this subject. Stay out of the politics and what Japanese people were or were not taught about their history, etc etc etc.........it may very well be an interesting topic for those that may or even those that don't believe in the topic.

Is there anybody wanted to know the existence of Japan WW2 War booties or Yamashita treasures?....I can EXPOSED it here...however my only concern that it maybe banned or censored just like the other Crisscross...Japanese forum. I wander why...this is not a terrorist topic or obscene...why censor me?....or MAYBE THAT YAMASHITA TREASURE HUNTING OPERATON IS STILL ONGOING TODAY...???...he,he,he...

The Yamashita Treasure is a multi-sided topic. It has in it military, cultural, political, moral, values, religion, science and technology. Say for example, I admire the Japanese for their advancement in Science and Technology, the Japanese tunnels were planted with traps like radioactive materials that readily poison intruders. Back in 1940s, using radioactive matter is a new thing. Also, I am amazed how they constructed deep tunnels in the Phils. knowing the fact that the underground water table in the land is very shallow.
They must be having a water sealant of some sort. I have seen cement made by the Japanese that cant be broken/crack with a hedgehammer.

The Yamashita Treasure is more than just a treasure hunting.

Do you have other treasure stories in your country?
For example, sanked European ships long time ago.
China is now salvaging a ship sanked about 800 years ago. There are also similar ships around Japan, but we don't need to boost our national pride and more importantly it'd cost too much.

Yamashita Treasure is the name to beat when it comes to treasure stories in the Philippines. It became the brand name of all treasures in the land. But why did the Japanese hide treasures in the Philippines? It is because they have no choice but to hide it here when the allied forces were guarding the exit points in WWII... A practical compensation for the damages done. But to most of us, there will never be a thing to compensate the damages of war. But those were in the past. Lets do the things at present. Those well-hidden treasures were of no use if we wont retrieve them for the commmon good. Peace.

It was unfortunate that South Korean government had not told the post-war peace effort with Japan. If Japan had asked South Korea to compensate Korean indivisual as Japan suggested, the situation would be much better now.

In terms of the relation with your country, I don't know the reason of popularity of Imelda Marcos or the Marcos family now. They are said to take the treasure, right? Sue them!

Our people wasnt the enemy of the japanese, they wanted to make peace, but they used us!! they hide treasures!! now the future has to pay and everybody is going to search and diggin for that treasure. Kayo, I am talking about the post war era.
Do you surprise when I say Japan borrowed tons of money to rebuild the nation including Shinkansen, or the bullet train, while she had paid compensetion for the victims around the world?
Thanks to the world-wide cooperation, we did both rebuilding our nation as well as compensating the victims, but we did not have any power how each country should spend the money.

There were crazy political activists, still are in Japan, in the post-post war period, but most Japanese just worked hard.

Retrieving the treasure is a collaborative task. The Filipinos cant do it alone and much more with the Japanese bec it is in our land. But there were excemptions. there were Japanese agencies already operating in the Philippines. It will be much better if we join hands.

At present, my group is already working on different sites...some were written on a map and some were thru historical account and still some were thru signs and markers. The aid of a sophisticated gadget is essential.

The Yamashita Treasure is the generic name of all the treasures hidden by the Japanese in the Philippines during the WWII.

Some have retieved portion of the Yamashita's, Tanaka's, Kurita's, Araki's, Sato's, Saro's, Yuro's,etc......

Portion should be given to the victims of war and their families.....

I don't know how your government dealt with the compensation, but it is totally wrong if you think Japan did nothing.
Again, why don't you sue Marcos? His family might also seize the reparations, post-war economic aids, and the treasure.
