X-Japan

At there last live and last era of Xjapan they all had a more casual style, It would be strange if suddenly they woud use that wicked make up and hair again.
 
someone said to me that x japan will be turing in america soon. i thought they were done playing after what happened to one of there guitarest?
 
I think it might be possible that they will do a tour in the USA, knowing that Yoshiki spends a lot of time there and he sure has connections.
 
I think they'll wait to see how Tokyo Dom goes to decided what they will do about a possible world tour.

Tailsop - I have no idea what they are going to do about filling hides place... on their studio recording of IV they used samples of his playing... I guess they'll do the same thing for the live... but not sure.
 
Just a tip...

I've been listening to Jpop and Jrock music for some time, and a lot of people were talking about the legendary X-Japan. I listened to their music recently and it's pretty good! I like both their ballads and fast songs.
My girlfriend told me that "Forever Love" is still pretty popular in karaoke rooms in Japan. Especially with guys who want to impress the girls.
So, if you want to make a good impression on a Japanese girl, take her to a karaoke room. Sing "Forever Love" for her, and she'll be swooning in no time.
And it doesn't matter if it's not on key or you don't get the words right. Just the fact that you're doing this is enough for them.
..Oh, and gaijins get extra points for doing this (^_^)
My girl expects me to sing this for her too, when I visit her this Summer. I told her to check if her insurance covers hearing devices...
 
I think I'd cry if someone sang Forever Love to me... that song makes me cry every time I hear it.

Recent X news:
I.V PV is out in full for those who haven't already seen it.

It did make me cry quite a lot.

Also the tickets for Tokyo Dome have "unexpectedly" sold out!! ... unexpected my arse... I could have told them they would sell out within seconds!!

omg I.V. is sooo good althought the clips with Hide and his guitar didnt help the tears stay inside

i hope they do a American tour cuz if they do i would just have to take my club out to see them no matter what.
 
is it worth it to spend amost 300 sg dollar on the last live 2nd hand dvd(release on 2002) or S$200 plus on new X japan return limited edition dvd? which one is more worth it?
 
Humm the Last Live one seems quite expensive to me. I think I'm remembering my conversion right, sg $ is aprox 3 times UK pound right?
I'd go with the new one if I were you. I got Last Live as part of their collection set and I'm sure it worked out not much more than they want for the one DVD.
I think the return limited edition sounds a much better deal.

Although, saying that, Last Live is hard to get hold of on it's own... so it might be slightly more expensive... but not that much more.

Where did you get that from ? I ordered my tickets almost right from the start but I don't know yet if I will have one until the lottery results are in (starting from February 5th).

I tought that as many people could order tickets for 5 days and a few days ago was the deadline. Obviously they won't be able to give everyone a ticket though.
 
They said it on Jrock Revolution... I think it was on a myspace bulletin. Apparently they sold more over Yoshiki mobil than they thought they were going to.
 
The lottery results were in today, and apparently I haven't made it.

I'm dissapointed that I won't be able to see X Japan's comeback concert, but I'm sure I will get to see them sometime. As expected thousands of people must have applied for a ticket, and I'm sure there are many Japanese fans out there who deserve it more than I do (I know X Japan for a year at most).

And..I save up almost 100 dollars ! Enough money to buy me all the albums of X Japan which was plan B

At least you have a good use for the money saved! ^^

What are the chances of them coming to America, any idea? anyone? I've been kind of out of it lately so I dont know what's up with Xjapan......
 
^pretty high, i think... i'm pretty sure yoshiki said his intention was to take the new X to the USA

and the first song i ever bought from itunes is now I.V. <3 im addicted

I know that this was already discussed, but I didn't see anything in detail, so...!

I saw that this hasn't been mentioned in this forum yet, and I'm super, super excited about it! X-Japan -is- reuniting--and they're actually doing a three day concert festival at the Tokyo Dome at the end of March! (The 28, 29, and 30 to be exact.)

-Everyone- is getting so insanely excited about this. The concerts sold out through the fan clubs and the general public had -no- access to the tickets whatsoever. Just imagine it: 100,000 seats (about, anyway...) and sold out. Completely.

I've always really liked X-Japan (Yoshiki is my favorite~ <3), but what -really- endears him to me right now is that he's helping overseas fans go to the concerts. I was just... yeah. The fact that he knows about us and wants to give us a chance to see X-Japan for their reunion concert...? Um. That man is amazing!!

Anyway, if anyone wants to go/is able to go, Jrock Revolution is hosting the ticket stuff. You can find info on how to get tickets and sign up over at the Jrock Revolution site.
(Just to give everyone a head's up, though, the lottery closes on Friday night, so... run, run, run! x_x;; )

Yeha I just read about teh whole JRock Revolution thing today...I wish I could make it, but I can't pull off all that money for the tickets and stuff.... I really hope anyone who tries on this thread makes it though...make sure to write reviews after...
- I have to admit though,...Xjapan's comeback makes me nostalgic...i dont know why though...
 

I applied for the lotterly, got the results today and...I WON !

Made the payment today and got an e-ticket. JRock Revolution will let me know at what stand I should exchange them at Tokyo Dome.

I'm going to 'Night of Destruction' on March 28th, the very first comeback concert of X Japan .

I'll keep everyone posted to how it was like and I'll post some videos.
