Wow - Something Great Happened To Me Today !!!!

I think that film starred Iris' great-great-great-(etc)-grandparents!

I had a feeling you'd appreciate that little tidbit! Heh!

As for Iris, I'd be careful around her. You never know when she might turn on you!

AAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! i beat the lousy flu!

HAHAHAHA DIE INFLUENZA F***ERS!!

My immune system 0wned yo lil' viral asses! *break dances*

Now i am well, im free to terrorise the world again.

Aww mikawa, thats so touching :>, i wish i had little nooblets of my own to watch them run around in the cold, drag me all over and deny me the very basic adult pleasures and freedoms one works so hard for to get to through their life.

At least you can look forward to retirement.

Nah its great you got kids that can give you a warm fuzzy feeling inside just by watching them run around on a cold day.

I cant wait until i have Nuri Jr to bend and shape, i wanna bring my boy up right!.
Nah, aslong as he's a good human being and i guess, reasonably smart and well off, then i'll be happy, i'de like him to go to uni simply because i f***ed my chances up, i dunno, i feel im a smart intelligent individual but, i just dont have what it takes to get into uni U _ U, i guess its more of a case that i cant get the higher grades i want to take so i can pass em and then get into uni and its more a case of unlucky situations then actually being too thick for uni, but im not desperate for a house in the country and 4 cars, i'll be happy with a cruddy home, thats a home, for Mrs nuri and me future family.

Ohwell, at least the making a family part is fun, to begin with.

Going to Uni isn't everything Nuri. I'm glad I went, but I don't think my life is better because of it. My husband didn't go and he has a better job than me!

Oh, my dear friend Nurizeko, you misunderstand me so! They were not children which sprung from my loins, but rather other peoples' children. I have no children of my own. If fact, I would not be a bit suprised if young Nurizeko, Jr., becomes a reality well before Mikawa Ossan, Jr. ever does. I have to live vicariously through other peoples' children.

What good thing happened to me today? Someone laughed at a joke I made! That was good!

Well, I didn't go to college either (my mom couldn't afford it), so I went straight into the Navy after high school. Turned out to have been a good decision as I got to see the world (more importantly, Japan) which was an experience I'll never forget!

Two good things happened to me today! I passed my St John Ambulance first aid course, I was really pleased because it was four days of intensive learning, we were all really worried we weren't going to pass, it was practical tests and it was fine! Also I got my lip pierced, I was meaning to do it for months but I couldn't because of being involved in a play (and then having to give resuscitation! lol), and addedly, it didn't hurt at all!

tonight wintertime starts... WOEHOE 1 hour more sleep!!!!! so happy, i need sleep.. didnt slept enough

sometimes i just want to look dumb with my messages.. sorry ne.... guess thats why i called baka... because many times i talk about... NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING.. do you have a problem with that?? NO?? GOOD I THOUGHT SO!!!

I only realised about the extra hour tonight a little while ago. Great news! Gives me an extra hour to do my coursework.

Not to sound like a grouse on this particular thread, but turning the clocks back did me absolutely no good as I woke up a little after three a.m.----on a freaking Sunday! Sheesh! And the really sad part of it all is that I'm used to it! URGH!

Well, I think this tidbit comes under "something great". It was ten years ago on this day, on Halloween that I officially retired from the U.S. Navy after twenty years of devoted service to my country. Actually, nineteen years and four months, I took advantage of an early retirement incentive that allowed me to leave early and still get credit for twenty years of service for full retirement benefits.

I can still remember what it felt like to leave the base as a civilian for the first time since 1976, and it felt strange after having spent two decades in the service. But it was also an exciting time for me as a new phase of my life had just begun. Still, there's no denying that I had a fantastic experience in the Navy, sailing to many exotic places, most of all, Japan where I fell in love with the country and it's people, especially the two lovely ladies to your left. All in all, it was an experience I'll never, EVER forget!

Today .. my wife had a tooth pulled!

The good news is that I no longer have to put up with her ranting about the "root canal that didn't work" .... !

Aren't I rotten ...!

ニ淡ニ停?。ニ停?

hmm...i had a pretty good day today, its pretty dull outside, but im in the warmth enjoying a nice cup of soup and watching a good film, and when i thought it couldn't be better my PSP arrived in the mail.

Now im just happy.

Nice to see a young man enjoying life's simple pleasures!

i think its the simpliest thing to do, to be happy.

I hope that others can be as happy as me,

Ok this brightened up my day.
I was waiting at the bus station earlier and running late as usual i decide i should ring my friend and tell him i was gonna be a bit late. So i get out my mobile and before i could even find his number this kid in a very big hoodie snatches my phone. Im lookin at my hands confused and going "huh?" and i look in the direction the kids going an this man grabs the guys hood and pulls him to the floor. I couldn't stop laughing at the kids face when the man told him to give me back my phone. Got my phone back and he let the kid go, thanked the man several times and i got my bus. Wish i asked the guys name now.
Im expecting a decrease in hoodies soon.

and i`m just happy reading all these little things that brightened your day. Carry on, guys

I got a surprise visit from a close friend of mine who was displaced due to the hurricanes <--*happy tears* He isn't living here anymore cause his apartment was destroyed, but he drove down to visit the few of us friends he has still left here He came to my house with tickets to the Harry Potter premier! *dies* It is so good seeing him again... I can't wait till the premier... 24 hours and 10 minutes away! ...yay!

Joined a gym and went to my first session today. I found out I'm not as heavy as I thought I was and my body fat is just right. Ok, I need to lose a couple of kilos, but I'm not as unfit and unhealthy as I thought I was. Just a bit knackered now.

Good to hear your healthy Mycernius! Good luck with loosing weight! Hope you manage to do it, i never did

Today Tadeja was talking to me again. We had kind of a fight a week ago. She was jealous because i hang out a bit more with other friends then with her. Well i apologized and she was still like '' i don't even know if you want me as a friend anymore, you have other friends.'' She really pissed me off. Today she apologized and i'm going to her place today to help her with studying

From the "It's the little things that make life worthwhile" department: The other day, my most beloved movie of all time was released on DVD for the very first time: the original King Kong! Oh, I was so happy! No doubt the new Peter Jackson version spurred this release, but who cares? It's absolutely terrific to have my favorite flick on DVD at last! YAY!!

Hmm, like Flashjeff, relating to 'the little things' thread... I seem to have acquired a new man.... *is still puzzled* lol

I am just sooooo happy to have got five whole days off work (paid comp time)because of the thanksgiving holiday...today is the last day... bummer... back to work tomorrow morning... but it was bliss while it lasted... and I didn't even have to use my vacation time... that made me even happier... I still have 40 hrs vacation time and 96 hrs sick time accrued... I feel guilty about using sick time unless I'm really dieing...

I get to look forward to more paid comp time for the winter holidays... 14 days... and still don't have to use vacation time... I am sooooo fortunate... I thank my lucky stars whenever I think about it... <grin>

I need to lose about 10 pounds. Not because I'm overweight, but because my jeans don't fit! But I don't think it is going to happen until after Christmas...

hey, guys, who are losing their weight, could you, please, spare me a couple, i need to gain some pounds, not to be blown by the wind and stay warm in winter
really, how to gain few kilos? i can`t quit excersize though, and don`t eat bread
