May Of Just Been Bad Lab Results, But.....


The liver is a weird organ, I'd go back in 4 to 6 months for another round of tests just to make sure. Maybe when you're at the doctors with the flu or another problem, grab a quick re-test to make sure.

Actually I'm in a good mood as I've had my Chobits CDs trun up, after waiting for a month for them. Not even the JWs that came to the door this morning have bothered me.

Well today lots of good things happened to me, and I dont even know what I did to deserve it!
Today I got paid $90 for 3 hours work, marking papers. Didnt have to talk to anyone or do anything else. Just correct papers, with an answer sheet to look at too.
Also have aquired a new student... a doctor, which is a bit scary, but should be challenging fun!
 
Don't knock, girl, just remember these good times when your luck is up. Is this doctor rich?

I'm going to New York... it's about time I had a vacation. I haven't been on one in atleasr 4 years I'm going to see one of my favorite jrock bands and do some sight seeing. It's a costly trip, but after all the crap I've been through lately everyone seems to think I need it. Does that mean I'm to stressed out? :?

Wish me luck... I am going all alone... haha. I am meeting with a friend who lives there I met online a year ago though. So much good stuff all at once. Hope it all works out.
 
I got to "see" one of my friends today! Yeah it was only on the webcam, but I haven't seen her in any way, shape, or form since February, when she last came back to visit from Canada.

Her baby has gotten so big, and her husband looks pretty good, too! I forgot to ask whether he's learned English yet or not!

It was so good to see them again!
 
Havent met the doctor yet, but my new student recommended me to him, so I think that he will pay the same as them... however, if I have to use my brain, I might be inclined to charge extra.
 
Kinsao, im so jealous!!!!!!! I've been thinking about New York lately, it seems that everyone is going there.

Well, this might be considered small potatoes in the greater scheme of things, but I'll mention it anyway:

I SAW THE SUN YESTERDAY!!!

Of course a little explanation is in order. Here on the east coast of the U.S., we had gone eight straight days with nothing but clouds and plenty of rain (several states got a month's worth of rain in only a few days), and overall, it had been hideously depressing to go day after day after day with clouds and rain. So when the sun came out Saturday morning, it was absolutely glorious! Like I said, this is certainly insignificant to some, but to me, it was flat out wonderful!!

 
I love that first day of sunshine after gloomy days!
This weekend has been particularly pleasant in Busan, I just walk around with a big smile on my face. must look strange hahaha.
 
How I long for my precious Sundays every week, and everything that is involved or more to the point, not! However, I was dragged off to the local Bunkakaikan by my daughter today to watch a couple of hundred "little darlings" strut their stuff for the annual Hip-Hop dance competetion. 4 hours of repetitive rap and a large headache later, my daughters group won first prize for most original dance movement!! Congratulations to one and all!!!

Hey! Nothing wrong with that! On Saturday I was gawking up at the blue sky and the sun like a country hick on his first trip to the big city!

 
Something great happened to me yesterday - I spent the day in Glastonbury, my favourite place in the whole world. Here is a view of the Tor from the Abbey grounds:

That's gorgeous, Tsuyoiko... I miss the countryside sometimes.

Well, it might not sound great to everyone, but I'm really happy because I have got so much stuff I want to draw and paint! Regardless of the fact I probably won't have time (tonight at least) to do half of the stuff I want to, it's still good to have lots of inspiration!

Plus someone has set me a guitar tabbing challenge... motivation = good.....
 
My mum told me that i am staying home alone tomorrow. My family is going to visit some relatives and i'm staying home because i have to study for school. Home alone all day... Isnt that beautiful?
 
I can totally sympathise with the wonderful feeling of freedom. I've just found out that the person I was supposed to be spending the whole day with tomorrow that I didn't want to be with... well, I don't have to spend the day with them after all! So now I have a day to myself to get on with... things...
 
Well, just to prove I'm a hopeless dork and have absolutely NO life, yesterday I found a truly guilty pleasure that recently came out on DVD, Night of the Lepus. For anyone unfamiliar with the movie, it's a monster movie of sorts that came out in 1972 about---and I'm not kidding---giant killer rabbits! You read right, folks! The hokey plot of this movie involved scientists using some sort of hormone to control rabbit populations in the countryside of Texas, only the side effect resulted in seven foot tall, carniverous rabbits! It's the loopiest movie I ever saw when I was kid, and I loved it!! Now I have it on DVD and I couldn't be happier! Like I said, I'm hopeless!!

 
You sound like a B movie fan. What's next Plan 9 from Outer Space?
I have heard of the film. My brother would probably like it. Incidently The Horror channel put on one of Ed woods film yesterday called Bride of the Monster. It's Ed wood, it's bad and you just can't help but watch.
 
HOw about Manos ? Now THAT is a bad movie! I forgot its subname, but it's a classic B(F?)-movie.

I went to a Sports Day today. It was great, but a little chilly. Watching the kids try so hard made me feel warm inside!
 

I've seen parts of that movie--it's a scream!!!!!!
 
Oh and since I'm in the " Wow - Something Great Happened To Me Today !!!!" thread...the sun is shining, I went to a great and worshipful church service this morning, and then had a delicious Mexican lunch. God is good!
 

Well, I do have rather....eccentric taste in movies. I've always been a HUGE fan of all those delightfully fun "big bug" movies from the 50's, most of which I have in my collection like THEM!, Tarantula, The Deadly Mantis, Earth Versus The Spider, The Black Scorpion, et al. As for Plan 9 From Outer Space, who hasn't seen it at least once! HA!! Just like all of Ed Wood's stuff, it's so bad it good! Watching his movies are like rubbernecking at a multi-car pile up, you don't want to look, but you can't help yourself!

 
I think that film starred Iris' great-great-great-(etc)-grandparents!
