maybe you came into some money. Maybe you got a promotion or raise at work. Maybe you scored a good grade on something in school. Maybe you received a nice gift. Maybe you just saw a beautiful flower or bird, but for you it was great. The Forum can be like one big happy family at times, share a little of your joy with us.
My "great" happiness for the day; it's Sunday and I have the day off. Not such a big deal, but I don't have to get dressed up or shave or do anything I don't want to, so I'm HAPPY !!

Well, I got a new cell phone. That's about it really. And I got a job at the recreation center on campus. It only pays $7.50 and hour but I'm very grateful.

I don't suppose I could get your number for chats during those lonely times? Congrats on the job! I've had my cell 2 monthes and still don't know what button to push to answer it. As long as I don't have to call 911, it will probably always have 266 minutes on it. Hopefully they will like you so much at your new job, you will get a quick raise.

good thing.. i talked about my holiday with my girl, that made me verry happy!!!! and i downloaded 3 cd's from Alejandro Sanz.. his songs are soooooooooooooooooo Beautiful!!!!!

I recently moved from NC-CA. Now I'm surfing the net. I had junk food. I'm needing to find a new job cuz I almost got fired...but it's all good cuz I had ice cream and cookies and eggs! with sausage...and rice! [loves food] but need to stop eating because i'm supposed to be on a diet for cosplay that'll look nice for this big anime expo 2005 in LA i'm going to next sunday which is a week away [sighs] so i need to be patient....

today i played football and had a lotta fun but also tripped ont he ball on my own whilst i was doing some fancy moves like the brazilian midfield quickmater Kaka', but he never trips over the ball like me and i got really hurt and am limpin a bit, hope the ladies will give me some sympathies, but maybe i should say that they tripped and not fell on my own

YOu played FOOTBALL, or Soccer? Kaka is great!!! have you seen the dutch game (under 20 against nigiria?) the lost the game, with penalties.. it took 22 penalties though until there was a winner
 
football = soccer.
American football does not = soccer.

why the Americans had to call their little "run-with-the-pads" sport "football" is beyond me... they hardly use their feet.
Not only is it a completely wrong name for the sport, but it was a name already owned by another sport, and they just bludgened football with a blunt object and stole the name.

The weather was wonderful here today. made me extremely happy.
 
I made a friend!

I met an orange cat, today, that would not stop meowing. So I scratched his chin, and in minutes we were fast friends. The funny thing was, it was my neighbors cat. But I had never seen it before...Oh well, I like the cat anyway.
 
Today looked like a not very special day... no good things planned... Then I listened to Gekai Merry-go-Round by Psycho le Cemu.



If you're not feeling too good - go listen! Preferably in a room by yourself where you can dance ridiculously to your heart's content...
 
My host mum spent 8000 yen on me and bought me a jinbei (japanese mens summer kimono) and zori (sandals made from tatami mat) lol I am very grateful

My son got good news from the doctor the other day. He didn't have to have blood drawn and his lymph nodes are getting smaller. The doctor says he should continue to get better and that the cat scratch fever will soon be a thing of the past!

Free High-Speed internet!

I'm volunteering at a hospital and I get some cool amenities, like very fast internet! As opposed to my 31 kb per second dial-up, this is great!
 
I returned from the USGP at Indy last week, had a great time. On the bus ride home I met a very nice Australian girl who I ended up talking to for the 6 hr ride into toronto. Now I'm packing boxes and preparing to move to the city in 3 days and overall things are great
 
My CD came today and listened to it with a full volume, umm, that was nice!
I don't have to cook dinner tonight because my husbnd is cooking salmon in the kitchen right now.

And, tomorrow is my day off, so I can go in the mountains again and get my but kicked! Yes!

Hey great news, we knew he was a tough lil guy, of course with all those good genes from his mommy. Hope he gets 100% bak to his oldself in no time

As I've just posted on the 'worries' thread, I thought I'd even things out a bit with something positive.

Last night I went to a fantastic gig at the 100 Club on Oxford Street.
It was a British guy called Jamie Liddell.
He is a white guy from Cambridge but he can sing like Prince or something - really strong, soulful voice.
Not only has he got this voice, but he backs it up with some of the filthiest,twisted and downright funky techno I've ever heard. He was also doing human beat-box, looping his voice, and all kinds of wild stuff.
My friends enjoyed it too.

Watch out for Jamie Liddell - pure genius!

I told my parents I was transexual yesterday! They took it so well, and I am so very happy with the end result too! Wow, just wow. Happy times for Thor! ^_^

Do you mean bisexual? I have a hard time believing your parents would need to be told you had a sex change.
