Why is French used in menus and buttons now?

Just noticed that most menus and buttons, as well as certain instructions, are written in FRENCH on this board.

What gives?

do you still have problems with this matter?

The only other reason I can think French would show...

would be something to do with Windows "encoding" settings being wrong?

I never touched any language settings. Didn't even know there were any. Looking at the link JimmySeal sent, I see one thing was set to Default, yet at the bottom of the page, it read French as something. Hard to say what was set to what because, well, I DON'T READ FRENCH!

I reset both to English, and it looks fine now.

Odder thing, though, is that I made those changes on my home computer, but before I left work today, my work computer had automatically changed from French to English without me touching a darned thing.

Spooky.

That can mean only one thing. Someone is hiding in your closet messing with your computer while you're not home! Go grab a baseball bat... HE IS INSIDE THE HOUSE!

Those settings belong to your ID, I believe, so once you changed the settings while you are logged in, the same settings should appear whichever computer you use to access JREF, as far as you log in as "Glenski"...
