What's for lunch?

My wife wants to know the quick and easy way to ask your co-workers, "What's for lunch?"

The only way I know how to ask with my very limited nihongo is

hirogohan wa nani o tabemasu ka?
As for lunch, what do you want to eat?

That seems too long...

i think that is perhaps one of the simplest ways to put it.

hirogohan wa-lunch
nani o tabemasu- what to eat

what to eat for lunch.

which leads to a greater thing. most languages rarely use ownership with apostophes or anything with apostrophes...

or do most people use..

hungari desu.

I wish not to use american like words in the japanese language.

"onaka suita" is the simplest for "I'm hungry"

As for "What's for lunch?", I recommend "ohiru dousuru?"

The polite version of the above are respectively,
"onaka suki mashita"
"ohiru dou shimasuka?"
