Visiting Japan (VISAs)

This summer I'm going to Japan for 2-4 weeks. I'm from Canada/age 16.

Do I need a type of VISA to go, be allowed to stay this length of time? I remember we needed a VISA when we went to Hong Kong for 10 days...

If so, what type, and how to get one?

What other Official Documents would I need to bring? Birth Certificate? Passport (I have one)? What else?

No, you don't need one if you're staying for less than 90 days.

Don't forget to prepare for application of a long-term visa when you are entering Japan to stay.

Have a great time! Make sure you pack some cool clothes, it's going to be hot and humid (possibly rainy) at that time. I would recommend cotton t-shirts and shorts (cargo shorts are very useful).
