Versus is gonna be on tv in the UK tomorrow night (midnight on Film Four if anyone's interested) and it sounds intriguing. I've heard of it but I don't know whether it's meant to be any good. So, is it worth watching?? :? Lemme know...

I think reading this line from a review has persuaded me to definitely watch it...

OK, so I'm only 2 months late on this thread. Versus is your typical Japanese gun toting samurai Evil Dead rip. If this got any more campy, bears would be raiding the site looking for picanic baskets. Good for a laugh.

it's a horrible movie. for it's purpose and genre, the fight choreography was below average. this movie is more a homage to it's hollywood/hong kong alikes.

versus is so bad that its actually kinda good, definitely good for laugh though, all the "tough" guys in the movie look like members of the math/science club

Versus is a great flick. Just take it for what it is. A cheesy action/horror flick. It's almost like watching a live-action anime. Very entertaining if you ask me.

Versus was mediocre is wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. The movie seems to drag on just a lil bit. The added humour in some of the action scenes to me were funny. The ending actually adds a twist to the story plot. I watched the movie with 6 other people and we all seemed to enjoy it. In my opinion it's worth the watch.
