We would just like to announce an impending upgrade to the latest version of the vBulletin software. We are still waiting for the DB backup to finish, then push the button. We expect no major impediments and will be back online shortly.

Sorry for any inconvenience and thanks for your patience and understanding.

The backup is still running, I hope we can accomplish this today.

Gratz and Thanks :)

Hi Hezam, you can adjust the time in your Control Panel ("My Settings"). I have the standard JST displayed, like before the upgrade.

There is still a few cosmetic issues I need to work on, but full functionality has been re-established.

Warning: we shall revamp the forum slightly in the near future to adapt it to our new global design.

Anyhow, if you come across any glitches related to this update, kindly report them right here.

Thanks!

What is the new global design?

If i may ask, How can i adjust time to be 12 hours instead of 24hs ?

Blank lines no longer displaying

Hi, blank lines are no longer displaying for me in forum posts (Win 7 / IE9). There was always a bug whereby these were lost when you went into preview mode, but now they are not displaying correctly for me anywhere, even in old posts that previously used to be OK. At the same time the font seems to have got smaller. Has there been some change ?

I believe this is controlled forum-wide, users can only change their time zone and the first day of the week. We are using 24-hour format globally, sorry about that!

I have moved your thread into this one.

I will have to look into this tonight, firing up IE. What's the latest version now, 9 or 10?

Also, we have switched to Arial as a first step to introduce our new design. I will still have to tinker with font sizes across the forum.

Thanks for all the feedback!

I believe IE9 is latest for Win 7. AFAIK IE10 is not yet available for Win 7, but is coming sometime. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong...

Link Gallery presents only on Portal page, and disappeared on all other.

Browser from "manage attachmets" on advanced page does not show any picture files

Thanks for the feedback. The Gallery link will be added later today, need to upgrade the gallery software first.

I shall be looking into the other issue shortly.

Much appreciated!

Thomas, have you managed to take a look at the missing line break issue yet? I am finding it a bit of a nuisance.

Eeky, I'm sorry for my late reply!

I haven't found a solution yet, and frankly, it's been a problem plaguing the forum for years. Given the latest news in the forum software industry, we might not invest a lot of time and effort in vBulletin anymore. More on that in another thread.

OK, thanks for looking at it anyway Thomas. The forums are still usable of course, but the lack of paragraph breaks makes longer posts harder to read.
