Weird day! I went to the farewell party for my elementary school. It opened in 1948 or so and is closing now due to lack of kids in the neighborhood. While there I ran into my kindergarten teacher from 1955; in a wheelchair, but still sharp. The local TV station did 20 minutes of film on us talking about the good ol days. I just finished with her when a local newspaper interviewed me and took some photos. On the way to the car another newspaperman stopped me and did a 20 minute interview about the good ol days. Now I have to see if I make the cut and get on TV and in the paper. I sure was glad I put my teeth in before I went !

I Made The Local Tv News Tonight!

They used about 3 minutes on me and used my voice as an intro to the news piece. I'll have to wait till tomorrow to see if I make it in the Newspaper. If they ues my picture, I'll post it and the story tomorrow. Funny how old I look on the TV shot; guess cameras don't lie!

Man, I wish I's lived in the good ol' days...

All I get in my youth is the invent of a million internet abbreviations and Vanilla coke...
judging by the name ("the good ol' days") it used to be much better... I hear the sixties were very promiscuous... good time to be young there at the end of the sixties by the sound of it.
But youth is wasted on the young and such.
