This question may seem complicated, but I am hoping there are people with some experience with this issue.
I have served in the Air Force for 10 years and will be separating soon due to a bipolar disorder diagnosis. My husband at the same time has received orders to Kadena AB Okinawa . We have been informed that my medical clearance is "automatically disqualified" due to my condition. My understanding is that I can fly myself there and be unsponsered by my husbands command. Has anyone done this? Would I have to get something more than my passport? Etc?
Thank you for any help.
