Have anyone been there? Is there anything famous there? Interesting? Good food?

How is the people there? atmosphere?

Do you intend to go to Tsuru University to study?
It may be good environment to study because Tsuru is far from the city.
It is about around two hours by a train from Tsuru to Shinjuku.
"Tsurubunkadaigakumae -> Shinjuku"
On board for 106 minutes (Traveling for 119 minutes)

There is the Fuji-kyu bus from Shinjuku to Tsuru, too.

To the Tsuru bus stop of Chuo Expressway.
About one hour 23 minutes.
1,450 yen.

Because temperature is lower than Tokyo because Tsuru is highlands, it is cool in the summer.
The Fuji Five Lakes outskirts have many sightseeing spots.

Yes, I intend to study in Tsuru university. I was going to choose to study in Tokyo at first, but the offer of studying in Tsuru came in. I weighted the options between the city and the countryside... I think I'll like the countryside better.
