You might know there are learners who swear by a difference in the う sound as well. But it isn't a stupid question. That just isn't what I hear.Uhm...
They're different.
"tsu" has the "ts", as in "cats". (IPA /t͜sɯ/)
"su" has the "s", as in "sat". (IPA /sɯ/)
Maybe it's just me, but isn't this obvious?![]()
What is heya tsuki ?That's also definitely true and I probably wouldn't have gotten it wrong had she said like "tsuki o mimashita?" or "sake ga sukidesu ka?"
I would reply, heya tsuki o mimashita + sake ga sukidemokiraidemoarimasen.
Additionally, whoever repped me don't worry about it...I always get angry when people say, "isnt it obvious"? If the person is asking something it's apparent that they do not know it and to say it's obvious is kind of like slapping them in the face. The one thing I hate about being wrong is the after effect when people say "oh, wasnt it obvious?"
