Will be visiting in late March/early April on a "Sakura Blossom Tour". Wondering what to expect temperature wise, just how "warm" should we pack? Thank you for any advice.

It can be cool and rainy, but it also can be sunny and warm (in the 70s farenheit). I would bring Spring clothing, but also bring a jacket and an umbrella (or leave the umbrella at home, you can buy them cheap anywhere in Tokyo).

"cool" and "warm" can vary depending on where you're from. I have heard people say below 65 is cold. Meanwhile, I don't even think of ditching my shorts until it's below 55, and I won't complain that it's cold unless it's in the 40s or lower.

I suspect people who say December in Tokyo is cold all come from California, as I found them to be pleasant temperatures.

Well we were up there in Oct. '07, so it should be similar? Thanks for the replies.
