Maybe different department has different method of work...

It's not from admission division. The document from admission division will be sent in mid March I think.

Like quizer here, I am also waiting for my official letter of acceptance from the admission division. Thus far, everything has been unofficial.

I received an email last month that I was selected as a reserce candidate. So I am in the waiting list, not recipient. I think, for me, there is no chance to get MEXT scholarship.

When will they be able to confirm unofficially or officially for you? Did you apply through embassy recommendation or university recommendation? Are you applying for Masters or PhD?

The result will be sent in mid March. But they said they will notify me in which case I would be a scholarship recipient then. I applied for igp(a) just like you guys. I applied for sustainable engineering program for integrated doctoral program.

Hey guys, looking at the past posts from page 8-9, it seems like we will receive the official acceptance letter around 13-19 March, which means around next 1 or 2 weeks from now.
Keep update this thread if someone already got the letter, okay?

hey guys, i received the letter of acceptance this morning. they said "You are on the list of candidates for MEXT scholarship, If you are selected as MEXT student, we will inform you as soon as possible and at the latest, by early August 2014 ", does this mean i am still on the waiting list? what about you guy's notices?

Is it different from what they gave you at the end of January (I think it's called unofficial result)? Is it from your graduate school dean or from admission division?

I think we are all the same, none of us already get MEXT scholarship. We just recommended by Titech to MEXT as recipient. So, I think you shouldn't worry.

the letter was sent the day before yesterday. you will receive it soon. i will enroll whether or not there is a scholarship

in the email sent at the end of January, they said i was on the waiting list. I think today's letter is not different from that email. this time, it is sent from president of titech.
