I would like any feedback possible for the new version of Chiba Beat at chibabeat.com | Domain For Sale.
Some of the changes include:
A complete layout change.
Users can now add venues, pictures, articles, comments, vote on everything, and earn adsense revenue for ads displayed for content they submit.
Can I get some feedback about the look of the site and any other features you think would be good?

While I couid complain that there is no overarching grid that ties the design together, I will say that it is a great improvement; it exudes a completely different attitude from the last version.

Yeah I need to do a little more to the design to make it all come together. Do you have any suggestions or ideas off the top of your head? I definitely feel like something is missing in the design but I just can't put my finger on it.

On a different note, since this new site is so mysql intense I am going to have to change servers pretty soon because my current server sets a really low php memory limit.

any help or suggestions on the site would be appreciated!

looks even better, it has come a long way since the first incarnation. Now that design isn't such a worry, you can focus on content!

Yeah I'm focusing more on content these days. The event calendar seems to be getting populated chibabeat.com | Domain For Sale as more businesses are posting their parties and such. Honestly though, I just wish I had more people writing blogs or stories http://chibabeat.com/blog or http://chibabeat.com/articles-stories . I'm about the only one writing anything lol and it is such a waste b/c I will share adsense revenue for all the ads on pages where other people wrote. Well, I'm still trying though but it's mainly been a one-man mission.
