"The Mysterians" and "Matango"

Two Toho classics, The Mysterians (1957) and Matango (a.k.a. Attack of the Mushroom People) (1963) are now out on DVD by Tokyo Shock (Media Blasters).

I haven't watched Matango yet, but The Mysterians was nicely done with audio commentary by special effects wizards Koichi Kawakita (Godzilla series of the 1990s) and Shinji Higuchi (the 1990s Gamera series).

If you like classic Japanese science fiction, these DVDs are for you.
