I wonder does anyone know bout this band??
The Candy Spooky Theater(TCST) is a Japanese indie band that fits into the visual-kei sub-genre spooky-kei[ﾂｽﾃ古淞ｰﾂｷﾂｰﾅ地]. Their music is like demented circus rock. And their visual style is very interesting as you can see from Jack's strange choice of wearing Mickey Mouse novelty gloves.
TCST formed in February of 2003, consisting of two parts Dororo and one part Nookicky/Monaural Curve. They came up with the concept of being "Living Dead Spooky Dolls" drawing on Halloween and various other horror-based themes. They use terms like "Toy Horror Rock" and "Rock'n Child Spook Show!"
Each member has their own little quirks. Jack Spooky believes that he is a corpse revived on February 1st 1XXX at 2:00AM. Peggy has a love for the phrases "**** Me!" and "Horror is Loved" and uses very strange repetative drawn out Japanese[which is quite cute]. And finally, Zull is...well he was in Nookicky...anything involving Full automatically makes you crazy.
By this Halloween they will have 3 maxi singles under their belts. The first of which has already gained them a considerable following outside of Japan.
