ﾂ≫?ｹC-ute is a Japanese pop girl group managed by Up-Front Agency and part of Hello! Project. They formed in 2005. So far they have released 16 singles with "Momoiro Sparkling" being their latest.

ﾂ≫?ｹC-ute was formed in June 2005 with 7 members: Umeda Erika, Yajima Maimi, Nakajima Saki, Suzuki Airi, Murakami Megumi, Okai Chisato and Hagiwara Mai. Originally these members were supposed to take part in Berryz Koubou, a Hello! Project Kids group that intended to periodically rotate its members, but it was decided in 2004 that the original members of Berryz Koubou would be permanent. A year later, ﾂ≫?ｹC-ute was formed of the remaining Hello! Project Kids members.

When C-ute first started off they were very young and for a few years they were always known as one of the "Kiddie groups" in Hello! Project. But over the last couple of years as the girls have grown older they have released a lot more singles in keeping with their age- Momoiro Sparkling with its genki cute pop sound is a recent break from this.
