Text Verification

Hmm, I'm a brazilian rookie on Nihon-go o.o I just would like to know if this small text I wrote is correct, if it isn't, please tell me what's wrong. Thank you

What did you mean to say with the word いちじな?
一時 means either one o'clock or temporary (to be precise, 一時的 いちじてき.)
If you meant to say "the first", then you can say
これは私の初（はじ）めての日本語の作文（さくぶん）です。
初めて means for the first time, and by adding の you can use it as an adjective.
Similar word is 最初（さいしょ）, which also means the first, and you can use it as adjective with の.

What do you mean せいほん?
The word that comes to my mind with this pronunciation is 製本 which means binding (of books), but maybe you meant something else.
正（ただ）してください is OK but when you are asking for correction, 直（なお）してください is more commonly used.
正す implies to correct something bad or to set something straight, while 直す to correct errors and mistakes.

This is OK but personally I find saying "thank you" when asking something is a bit - premature.
The most commonly used phrase when asking for something is よろしくお願（ねが）いします。
And when you actually get what you've asked for, you can say ありがとうございます。

By the way, if you're a beginner and the above sentences are your first 作文, I say you did quite well!

btw, I looked for the word "Text" in a dictionary, and it shows lots of results, I thought that せいほん was the most appropriated... but what I tried to mean was the word "text".

Did you go from the English word "text," or the Spanish version? When I checked the dictionary I got quite different results for "text" (and no guarantee that any of them are the one you wanted).

Translation of the word "text" varies depending on the context - it is rather rare that the two words in two different languages covers the exactly same thing/area.

In the above example, where "text" means sentences, or what you write, I think 文章（ぶんしょう） is the most appropriate.
One single sentence is 文（ぶん）.

And there you have it. None of the offerings in the dictionary I checked were appropriate either. That just goes to show you to beware of dictionaries.

@Glenn : No, I didn't use Spanish version, I only try English <-> Japanese... and yeah, dictionary usually shows lots of results for one consult.

Also, how do I use "there are" in japanese? Like.. I would like to say: "There are 15 people in my classroom"... must be something near to きょうしつは十五人... plus the "there are" XD hehe. Thanks in advance ^_^.

To answer your question, use います for living things and あります for inanimate objects:

きょうしつには十五人がいます。 The は is not always necessary, depending on the situation, but don't worry about that for now.
