Telekinese is the ability to move things with your mind
Okey I am going straigght to the point:

Do you think it is real or fake?

I believe that it is a VERY VERY rare ability.
There are actual accounts of ppl moving things with their minds. Read abt such cases in 'Psychic Discoveries' by Sheila Ostrander & Lynn Schroeder.
 
Well, who are we to say that it is fake? Do we know beyond any shadow of doubt that this rare ability doesn't exist in people? Even in the 21st century, there are still lots of mysteries in this world that have yet to be solved, so, until telekenisis have been scientifically proven to be bogus, I'm willing to keep an open mind.
 
I move my hand with my mind and that usually touches Japanese girls after pilots have flown airplanes of people with their mind over an ocean for 10 hours. That is pretty amazing, if someone moved a mechanical pencil with their mind or something I'd just scratch my head and wonder why they don't just loot purses or hang outside Casino vaults all day.

People with such abilities are just extremely rare. Also, I think that the effect telekinetic ability is restricted by the laws of Physics (ie. Newton's laws) we currently know.
According to the book I mentioned in my post above, it took a telekinetic woman a great deal of effort to move a small object (like a coin or pencil, can't remember). At the end of the expt, she was shown to have lost weight.

I do not think that it is possible for a human to telekinetically move the Golden Gate Bridge (as shown in the movie X-Men 3), or change the orbit of planets (Luke Skywalker & the Star Wars novels). If there were such a person, there would be chaos all over Earth.

it could be real. why not? i want to believe. :) it is very rare, but i would love to see it one day :)
 
I do not believe such abilities are present in human beings. To those of you who say that you move your arm with your mind: That is done through signals sent throughout the body from the brain to various muscles and organs and whatnot. That link does not exist between yourself and inanimate objects.

I know that the human mind can be a very powerful thing, but its not that powerful.
