Does the Tea House in Ham-rikyu Gardens serve tea in the traditional ceremony style?? If not, how can you experience a genuine tea ceremony ???? Many thanks!!!

If you are looking to experience the Tea Ceremony, exactly where will you be? Tokyo perhaps?

If you are in Tokyo, then you can fairly easily pull up some things on google, just by typing "tea ceremony in tokyo". There are many hotels and travel sites that offer information regarding how to find and schedule a Tea ceremony!

Good luck looking! 👍

Many thanks: have actually tried that, but doubt we will be organised enough to make an advanced booking, as all the hotels seem to need: will attempt it though: thanks again.:-)

I visited some websites featuring information on Hama rikyu, and it seems that they do serve traditional style Japanese tea, maccha, but not in a traditional way. I guess they do not hold a tea ceremony there. just fyi🙂

Great, many thanks: will probably go anyway, as we wany to go by river to Asakusa: may try for ceremony in Kyoto , as we have more time there. Thanks again:-)
