:) hi. Uh, hwo can you make a verb -te (-de) form?

how would you turn.... kikimasu (kiku) into -te form. I think it's kitte, but i have no idea if im right...how can u be sure...is the somethign you need to do to put the -te (-de) in?

can you please give my 1 example for -te and one for -de...thank!

Ichidan/type two verbs are easy. remove ru and add te.

Godan/Type 1 verbs change depending on the ending.

く いて
ぐ いで
る・つ・う って
む・ぶ・ぬ んで
 
there's actually a poem that you can go by to help you remember how to conjugate u-verbs (godan). and remember, you're always conjugating the dictionary form (kiku). kikimasu is a more polite form of kiku.

「うつる」って
「むぶぬ」んで
「く」いて
「ぐ」いで
「す」して!
 
There are three verbs that conjugate irregularly in the -te form:

いく - いって
くる - きて
する - して
