cmon they are those 2 girls on readhead one brunette that pretended to be lesbian so they would get more publicity. THey have that song all the things she said and not gonna get us. They are russian and well not so great for my taste.
 
If it is the Tatu I think he has mentioned then it is a female duo from Russia. they were in the Eurovision song contest about three years ago and like to put forward a lesbian persona. Ahhh those two!!! 😌 Never liked them! They are like totally missed. Not my type. All girls in our school were like 'yayy they are soooo good'!! :eek:

There was a Japanese version of TaTu when they were still a big deal, cant remember what they were called though.

They even did a cover of 'all the things she said' or whatever that song was called.

I'm sure their popularity is based on their talent, not the lesbian schoolgirls making out in the rain video. 😌
 
As soon as I found out they had been lying about that just for publicity, I lost all respect for them. A couple of their songs are pretty, but I won't be buying any more of their music...

but seriously.....their music is unique and nice whether u like their publicity or personality :p
 
This is just my opinion, but if it weren't for the phony lesbian angle, Tatu never would've managed so much as five minutes of fame, forget the full fifteen. Nowadays, they don't even rate being an afterthought.
 
I personally love t.A.T.u. And they have admited to having girlfriends just not each other so nyah. They say they've had both boy and girlfriends so yeah. But the sexuality issue notwithstanding I still love their music because behind all the scandals they're very good vocalists. Also their music and lyrics (wether they write them all or not) are very good and at the risk of sounding cliche they speak to me on a basic emotional level. But I can see how their music wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea. It's very techno, very dance, and has a lot of pop influence but I personally like the blend of styles. Granted I can't listen to them everyday or all day because all the repeating will without fail if given a long enough space of time drive me up a wall. But I do really love t.A.T.u. even with all their faults. Sure they're not my be all end all fav band ever but I like them a lot.
 
:D i am indifferent to them. But can`t call their vocal skills good. I`ve heard only their early songs, gomen, admirers, but this was ... (* looking for decent word *) ... waffle

Oh, I just saw the video to "30 Minutes (Russian version)" for the first time yesterday (it was also the uncut version). Wow! That is a POWERFUL video! If I didn't love t.A.T.u. already I would NOW!

Earlier someone mentioned a Japanese group's cover of "All the Things She Said/Ya Shosla S Uma" well I found the cover

Nothing beats an orignal but it's still cute. And I greatly enjoyed getting to hear the song in Japanese.
 
I can't stand tatu, and that's got nothing to do with them trying to get the attention as lesbians or whatever (although, that was annoying also). I just dislike them, always have. Their music does not make me go 'wheeee', their lyrics do not impress me, them as artists and performers.. well.. meh!

... at least those japanese girls are cute...
 
I think the t.A.T.u girls are way prettier myself but that's just me. And dude, (even though I know you weren't bashing them for this but still) it wasn't THEM trying to get attention from the lesbian angle it was their F**KING MANAGERS AND PRODUCERS!!!!! *seeths*
And I like their music and lyrics but that's just me. Again they speak to me, I can relate to them. It's a yeah been there done that type thing (am there am doing that)
 
I don´t like T.A.T.U. Their music is not my taste. They where only popular in my contry for a while and that was it. It is boring listening to. It is not ear catching, and if you have heard it on the radio, you would be annoied because that god dam melody was stuck on your brain.

True! I remember when Tatu was on the Eurovision and they didn't want to practice the whole preformance because it was a surprise :eek: Bleeehh... :eek: They are acting like they're something special and they probably except the whole world to love them till they die...:eek:
