Okay, sorry about that, I just like the term "homeslice" and it doesn't sound right without a good "sup" before it. Correct English would be, "Hello, friends!"

My name is Anne, I'm 22, from New Mexico in the US, and I'm teaching English in Japan for... a while. Don't really have a time frame anymore. Originally it was going to be about two years, but I like it so much I may stay longer.

Not much to say. I have a Bachelor's in Psychology and Counseling, I love playing piano, guitar, and bass, I love studying Japanese, and I love meeting new people! I enjoy sci-fi and psychological thriller type things. I've been in Japan since July 2010, and I'm teaching Japanese with an English program at a local church here in Tochigi prefecture.

No notice of the wintery breezes, pushing their unfriendly way through the cracks of space left by the twist of old wooden doorway studs, and beams, over the warmth of the irori's faintly glowing ash. No escaping either, of the romantic aroma of slowly roasted rainbow trout, tonjiru, and freshly harvested soba, that mingle and dance in magical trance with the warm nihonshu.
