Starting books for children

I need to find a childrens picture book in Nihongo. I'm looking for one of those books with thick pages. My daughter is still in the "ripping paper stage" and all I can find is books with regular grade paper.

Does anyone know where I may find a book for very young children?

To have books sent from Japan can be costly (because of the transportation cost), you might want to ask amazon.com if they can handle them.
You can ask them with ISBN No. for the books you're interested.

Check eBay! I have bought a lot of cheap kiddie books with durable paper from them over the years. They usually ship from Japan, too.
