Thanks, nice gaijin for telling straight facts that might eventually help.

As for wanting to have children, it's nothing bad in itself. Heck I wanted a child when I was a teen, heh.
But if you want kids (and without a father to chip in with all the work of love which is not only wonderful-fun but also terribly hard work) to love them, raise them, and to PLAY WITH THEM who will never betray you...like a really good friend, you might have a better chance with people around you.
Socialising is no simple task, and both scary and enjoyable. Heck, I'm 44 and socialising is never trivial. There's always the element of fear, not wanting to go out of my way, and not wanting to offend anyone. But strangely they seem to work out one way or another.
I don't even plan them out. They just happen -- with or without my conscientious effort. I try to stay open and not let it destroy my style, and both me and others around my age give or take 30 yrs don't seem to have a major problem with it.
I think self-knowledge is where I got stuck for so long. If I had only known earlier ! One of the best way to find out is to actually go out and do it !
Stop asking for this mugen-tenshin advice ! Go find a cos-play, and your will find people just like you in love with the Aya side kick ! I think you will love it; and I'm sure there will be people who practice that variety of martial arts for all the visual effect, and possibly even the "martial arts" effect.
Did you know that even the mainstream martial arts have the "theatrical aspect" also ? It's really weird if you think about it. I can picture in my mind a peacock claiming to be in the offense posture !!
