specialist in humanities etc vs instructor visas?

does anyone know what the practical difference between going to japan to teach english on an instructor visa vs a specialist in humanites and international affairs visa?

according to the http://www.mofa.go.jp/j_info/visit/visa/appendix1.html page, the specialist etc visa includes language instruction...

but according to the swedish embassy's page, This domain has been registered for a customer by nicsell the specialist etc visa is pretty much anything in humanities excluding what's been covered by the other types...

i'm confused. bureaucracy is confusing. and frustrating.

I go by the MOFA page myself, which you can use as a reference in asking questions. I'd email the embassy, tell them your situation and ask the question to them. In the end we dont have much say, but they do.

I have a hell of a hangover, an exam in the morning and its already 11:53pm, i'll have a good look tomorrow for you. But im sure the difference is in the wording and you may have a chance here. Altho the humanites visa requires work experience rather than the education, which could be tricky.

As a designer, I got a specialist in humanities visa... I think its just the "here ya go joe" kinda visa, not specific to anything.
