I found this bottle at an estate sale. I can't read Japanese so I was wondering if you can tell me the brand name and would this be considered a quality brand or economy brand? Or perhaps something in the middle? Does soy sauce have a shelf life or does the salt keep it well preserved? Thank you for the help.
Not soy sauce. It's tempura sauce. (But the first ingredient is soy sauce.)
Date is on the label 5/13/1995. I don't think it's anything special and it's 25 years old.
So you could put it on the shelf for artistic display. Or dump it down the drain and recycle the bottle.
I don't think it would hurt you to consume it but I wouldn't.
The label is a little different and it was switched from metal to a plastic cap. I'll find someone to give it to who will like it for display. Thank you for the help.
