If you are going to leave a company in the middle of the month and start at a new company on the 1st of the following month, there are about 15 days of lapse. Does it cause any complication to the social security (Kousei Nenkin) and heath care premium obligations? I can do away with the health coverage for 15 days. So, I am more concerned about the technicality of Kousei Nenkin payment.

Your pension payments should be fine. Money will be deducted based on earnings, right?

Your benifits stop the day you quit, so you won't have any cover for those 15 days. However if it is an ongoing condition that you are being treated for you will be fine for those 15 days. You will be required to hand your card back to the company that you work for for when you quit.

Check with the ward office about pension payments, too. If you want to collect after 25 years, those must be uninterrupted years.
