Sin City

I have just been to see 'Sin City' and came away impressed. It goes to show that some people in Hollywood can still turn out decent films instead of inferior remakes. The trailers before the film showed two remakes, 'War Of The Worlds' and 'Dark Water'. I have heard that 'Dark Water' is said to be pretty dire and 'War of the Worlds' strikes me as an ID4 clone. As for 'Sin City' I recommend it to anyone.

I myself want to go and see Sin City, i have not actually heard much about it but as you confirm it to be good i will probally go and see it later in the week. Along with League of Gentlemens apocolypse. Anyone seen that yet.

Dont know how other countries woudl find it, maybe like that English humour things i saw on another thread. Being from Cornwall i can really relate to the whole Local idea.

Everyone I know (cept a couple people who I don't credit their opinion) that has seen Sin City has said it was very good and I wanna try and catch it before I leave for Japan next week. I am also interested in seeing War of the Worlds. I am a huge fan of the orginal radio hoax and if you want to be specific, ID4 was just a reworking of the orginal. But it just seems like a good summer popcorn movie.
