Side trackers

Every time I go on my computer I give myself a time I have to be off of it at. Yet somehow I always end up on it until predawn and then stay awake for days on end, because I'm an idiot . So, I was wondering, what little things side track you when you turn yours on?

ahh mostly just talking to friends on MSN or something. A many of times someone will get on that I havent talked to for a month or so and just want to catch up on whats happening on the other side of the lake. Sometimes Its online games that I stay up to long to play.

I'm no where near as bad as I used to be when I was younger--- I was a bit of a hacker, and I don't mean that in a ambiguous way--- we would hack -into- systems... much before the internet was all that popular---

We would talk to each other on the phone, we would trade different files etcetera...

These days I like to get out a bit, I like to go to a bar when I can... listen to some music... It's been a long while since I've been at my computer and realised, oh, hey, that's the sun comming up!

This website, a few others, and checking my e-mail. And I guess the television, when I have it on. Otherwise, I have not much else to do than what I'm supposed to be doing when I'm at the computer. Chatting doesn't really distract me from my work.

If I go on msnm, I end up being on for ages, because people grab me for a chat, and if they are in the States (which many of my msnm buddies are), they are 5-8 hours behind me...
Now, I hardly go on msnm at all, because it took away from my sleep too much!
These days, nothing much really distracts me. I go on some forums of course, but that's during work time. I don't really use my computer at home. Although I use it for uploading pictures to my deviantart account, which sometimes takes a bit longer than I bargained for.

Really? I mostly get distracted by my e-mail. I have a yahoo toolbar and I almost always have mail, but I there's always more in the inbox than I expect.
