short letter translation

Many thanks for helping with previous letters. I recently got a reply to the last letter I sent not long ago.

Below is a scan of the reply. I have sectioned it off into lines. I was thinking that the whole letter may be a lot for one person and that a few or more people may pick just a line or two to do. Some lines no doubt continue onto another. Just leave off at the end of a sentence where you like if you have a spare moment.

I know that they talk about Shiro, Shirozasa, and Akazasa colors, tails, and of course chickens (I'm learning a little). I just don't know what they're saying about them. I also think the letter is signed differently than previous letters. I'm certain that it's not signed "Nagaodori Center" as before. Is it a name? Has the character "ta" in it?

I must say that's some pretty sloppy handwriting... only a real Nihon-jin could have written that . Sorry I can't help you... all I can understand are little bits, like in the first line: "start", "beautiful", "from home", "look", etc.

You're right about the first line:
"The mountains are turning color and I can see the beautiful view from my home. I can feel winter approaching."

I see you are located in Kochi. That is where the people I'm writing to are located at also, the Nagaodori Center. I'm enjoying corresponding with them. They are the only Onagadori breeders I know of in Japan. I hope that we can help each other with information about the breed and share what we know about it.

I have heard that there is an Onagadori breed's organization in Japan, but I don't know where or how to contact them.

But I feel like seeming to be a female **** as far as I watch a white ****.

I've seen a few of the Onagadori breed myself, and there are posters/big pictures of them scattered around town. I don't know much about them except that they're very beautiful.
