Dear valued members,

this week we have to migrate all of our websites, including JREF, to new servers. Our new servers are already online, if there are no further technical issues I shall move JREF lock, stock and barrel over Wednesday night. We hope to be back online by Thursday morning (Feb. 25) JST.

Keep your fingers crossed.

Due to technical difficulties we had to postpone the server migration. We'll try again midnight, Thursday, February 25 JST.

After initial difficulties in moving our 54GB of data to the new server, we have finally managed to migrate JREF. Let me know if you encounter any errors.

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

I believe we may have lost three or four posts, one of them from Ashikaga-san due to the fact that the DN servers propagated faster than anticipated. Sorry about that!

Is the server move complete?

As a matter of habit, I click on the JREF button on my Personal Toolbar quite frequently during the day and am finding "Not Found" errors. The site is back again in a little while.

Just minutes ago, the same error occurred when I wrote a post and clicked on the Submit Reply button.

There is a chance of "DNS hiccups", as full domain propagation might take up to 48 hours:

Thank you, Admin!

Relieved to know that they're just "hiccups"!

Thank you, Admin, as always for your hard work!
