Server move, downtime

due to an urgent server migration we will have to close the JREF Forum and all related modules tomorrow Sunday, January 23, 2011 from 22:00 JST (13:00 GMT, 08:00 EST, 05:00PST). We expect the forum to be closed for about 24 hours.

While it might take a while for all users around the globe to be able to reach jref.com due to delayed domain propagation it appears that we are back.

I apologise for the long closure of the forum, but it took us (or rather our excellent support team) exactly 50 hours to transfer the entire website from our old server to a new server in a different network.

The reason for the urgent server migration was an impending hard drive failure that could have brought all our sites down in an instant. We're safe now.

If you find any errors or glitches (common after a migration), please report them here.

under "Calendar" the month is still showing Dec. 2010. In the bottom right of the Calendar section , there is no way to jump to 2011 , it is not listed??

I can reach the new server on my iPhone, but laptop and PC still redirect me to the old server. Funny!

I was starting to wonder what happened when it wasn't back up at the end of the scheduled maintenance window. I'm glad everything got sorted out OK and I am glad to have JREF back! Great job on the server move!
