Hi, people.
Some time ago, I acquired a Sharp Papyrus Dictionary PW-AT780 with the Spanish dictionary card.
Well, I usually do backups of my valuable things and so I did with that dictionary card. Recently I moved appartment and seems than in the process I've lost that precious SD Card. Althought it was a shock at first, later I thought that it wasn't a big deal 'cause I owned a backup... but the problem is that if I copy all the backuped files to a new SD Card, the device doesn't loads the dictionary. I can navigate through the folders, but the dictionary doesn't load.
Is that due to an anticopy system? Any ideas of what could be the problem or could help me to find a solution?
I'm not in the mood to buy another card 'cause are a bit expensive.
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to JREF

Why is this in this forum? definitely in the wrong section.

And the dictionary may have a format utility or some type of special read structure. Try searching online.

I moved it to our "geek" section.

Maybe someone here will have an idea? Sometimes you need to wait till the weekend to get a good answer when more people are on.Good luck.

Nhm...my friend's dictionaries came with a CD with an utility-soft to "create" the so-called SD-card from a normal one. Didn't yours have the same thing?

Sorry for posting in the wrog forum.

My SD Card Dictionary came without a CD. A huge user guide manual came but none CD.
The dictionary was PW-CA08 and if I remember clearly, the SD card was thinner than usual SD cards and had "pin" less.

Thanks to all.
