Do they have vocational or technical high schools in japan. I go to one in the US and I want to be an exchage student so I want to know if they have them there. A vocational or technical school is when you specialize in 1 trade through all 4 years of high school, i'm in a computer program so i go through acidemics for 2 weeks then i go into shop (I am learning about computers all day) for 2 weeks but we learn just as much becasue during acedemics i have 8 classes and no study halls. So i was wondering if there are schools like this in japan beacuse i really want to go as an exchage student.

Yes, there are tech. schools (none that I know that run serious exchanges - but I can only speak from my experience), but how is your Japanese language ability, why do you want to go (really study, or just pick up some language / culture stuff), and for how long? -Just curious

I have ok languange ablity but i am still working on that and i am planing on going for 6 months or 1 semester that is if my school lets me but if they dont i will be goin for the summer. My main reason for wanting to go is the culture, languange and that i am very interested in computers and i hear that they are very advanced in that field. (i wanna ride the bullet trains too

I was wondering has anyone went/or is in Temple University Japan? I request an admission information, which I have gotten today.
