🙂 Hi again!

Sanrio is a company that is in Japan that sells merchandise with their characters on them. You might know one famous Sanrio character, Hello Kitty, they also made Cinnamoroll, Deery-Lou, My Melody and so on. They are at least 34 or so years old now, they also made movies too: Ringing Bell, The Sea Prince and Fire Child (or something like that), Unico, The Mouse and his Child and the recent Cinnamoroll: The Movie. They had Unico as one of their own characters, until Osamu Tezuka died then all rights went back to Tezuka Productions. Their name means "sacred river" I think.

Does anyone else know of this company? If so, what do you like/hate about it?

Some temples and shrines sell Kitty's talismans. I regret I should have one when I was at school.

but Sho-chan was born in 1923 and older than Tintin.
Ironically, I came to know him after I saw a speical postal stamp of him last year, though I knew Tintin then.
