Do you mean "samurai"?
(The 1st picture you posted is definitely nothing to do with samurai.)

Wikipedia said:
Samurai (侍) is the term for the military nobility of pre-industrial Japan.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emperor_Meiji
Emperor Meiji abolished the samurai's right to be the only armed force in favor of a more modern, western-style, conscripted army in 1873. Samurai became Shizoku (士族) who retained some of their salaries, but the right to wear a katana in public was eventually abolished along with the right to execute commoners who paid them disrespect.
Only the name Shizoku existed after that. After Japan lost World War II, the name Shizoku disappeared under the law on January 1, 1947.

im great brother, ty for asking ;)

its samurai champloo and vincent in ff vii, i think he really asking about samurai. :)

brother abdalrasyid

do your life like samouri life :)

Your wellcome dear brother, im not :) Im as ordinary as u, Hezam and maybe everybody else. Samurai is warrior caste in japan, its like Ganryu or Sasaki Kojiro. Try to read Shogun by James Clavel or Taiko by Eiji Yoshikawa (also Musashi), maybe u will get a little picture about them.

Why is this here? Why are you posting here?

This is the serious discussion forum.

The samurai were the upper class of Japan, but no more. Most Japanese seem to claim to have some samurai ancestry, and that could be true. One of my wife's ancestors was a lower-ranked samurai who was in charge of caring for the lord's horse.

If you wish to know something more about samurai philosophy, I recommend "A Book of Five Rings," by Miyamoto Musashi.

Maybe its more like this Roland. Hideyoshi Toyotomi and Musashi were born from the poor samurai caste. If we watch a movie "twilight samurai" it said it was true story, we understand there also availible a low wages and low caste samurai who only working on simple task.

Samurai is a caste, and in their own body are being classify from the lower to the highest class. Hideyoshi Toyotomi, who later known as The Taiko, the one who able unite all japan, start his carrier as a servant carrying Oda Nobunaga sandals (shoes).
