i have seen those full samurai body armor in the shops and i have been interested in collecting them.
However i have seen prices range from AU$2000 to AU$10,000

is there a guide i can follow so i know i ain't getting ripped off?
i don't know how much they are worth
can anyone help me out?
 
Are you talking about replica armor or the real deal?
 
well, both are good but as the real deal will be overly expensive and rare, the replica will be a better option.
replica's are still quite expensive right?
how can i tell what type of armor it is?
is there site that can help me?

I'm afraid I don't hold much interest in Japanese armor, and can't really help you there. At age 20, it seems like a pretty frivolous expense, but if you can afford it more power to you.
 
it is a big expense, but it would keep its value or at least rise i think.
This is why i am looking for the bargins. But have nothing to compare it to.
 
I'm not so sure that replicas would really appreciate that much in value. If you're into antiquing, I suggest starting small.
 
I watch a photograph and consider this to be a copy of an armor of the Muromachi era first half year from the Heian era.
Form of a helmet and form of a trunk armor,
I think that it is not an armor of the sengoku times.
Now an armor producing seems to do 1600000 yen from 260000 yen.
